Dr. Benjamin Mati is board certified in family medicine with additional fellowship training in emergency medicine, critical care medicine and point of care ultrasound.

His clinical experience spans a variety of contexts including trauma center emergency departments, rural emergency departments, intensive care units, urgent cares, student health centers and critical access hospitals.

He has taken on academic leadership positions including being a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, being elected chief resident, sitting on curriculum and admissions committees and providing residency and post-graduate education.

He teaches procedural medicine and ultrasound courses around the country and has been invited to speak on a variety of topics including respiratory failure, chest pain, sepsis, point of care ultrasound and heart failure.
